In addition to managing all Division-level communications to the University Community, Student Affairs Communications & Marketing manages the Division's website, social media accounts and provides communications support to the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs. 

Additionally, SAComms provides a wide range of creative services to all units within the Division of Student Affairs, including but not limited to:

  • Graphic design for signature programs, services, initiatives and facilities
  • Feature stories or announcements (for News@TheU and/or Student Affairs News & Events)
  • e-Newsletter development and template creation
  • In-house large-format color printing (i.e. posters)
  • Presentation development and templates
  • Hands-on trainings and workshops (approved on a case-by-case basis)
  • Vendor relations for print and promotional items
  • Media relations support
  • Consulting and case-by-case production/execution in the areas of:
    • Large-scale event or high-profile campaign marketing
    • Social media strategy development
    • Website* and analytics reviews
    • Photo/video services and projects
    • Market research and assessment projects
    • Development/fundraising support

*Student Affairs Information Systems (SAIS) assists units with routine website updates throughout the year: add/remove staff members, program date changes, add/remove photos, add/remove pages, etc.
